I'm looking to have a tummy tuck and tubal ligation at the same time. Hoping to get an answer on here from a Plastic surgeon or Gynecologist in or around Vancouver B.C. who has experience with this. I understand they will need to be on the same slate and both have admitting privileges. I have heard it can be done but it's been a lot of calling around to find a place that is willing. A plastic surgeon can perform a history and physical exam to determine what is causing this problem. Sometimes, there is a buried stitch that has not dissolved and needs to be removed.
Muscle spasm are not unusual after abdominoplasty and it can take up to a year for them to completely resolve. It's good that it is slowly improving on medication.Other than medications, massage/physical therapy can help. Talk to your surgeon about a referral.Good luck
