I am 31 years old, 5 “1”, and weigh 160 lbs. I stated my weight loss journey about 1 year ago and have lost 12 lbs. I eat healthy for the most part and work out 2-3 times a week. My question is will this non-surgical treatment effectively assist me in getting rid of the stubborn belly fat.
Answer: LipoMelt for belly fat--sculpting, weight loss, evaluation It’s difficult to provide an answer without photos or an in-person consultation. You’ll need to lose weight first before undergoing any cosmetic procedure to get the best outcome. For best results, it is recommended to be at your ideal or stable weight before getting a sculpting procedure. It is not a weight loss procedure, rather it is for sculpting and defining and removing problem areas that cannot be removed with weight loss and diet / exercise alone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a bariatric doctor or dietitian. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lipo Thank you for your question. It's hard to answer this question without seeing photos and an in person evaluation. It sounds like you would be a great candidate for Liposuction. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate you and go over your options of surgical vs non surgical options. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Fat removal Dear Jtorres1167,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination, but you might be a candidate for a liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Liposuction Options Jtorres1167 I admire your determination. Since diet and exercise got you this far, but there are still issues with stubborn, residual fat within your abdomen, traditional Liposuction is still the gold standard. Fat melting procedures do not work very well, and usually are reserved for very small areas of fat. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to increase your chances of the best possible result. Good luck.

Answer: Stubborn belly fat Hi, thank you for your question. Although you may not wish to entertain invasive options for this persistent problem that doesn’t seem to resolve with diet & exercise, you should know that non-invasive methods are not as effective for getting you to your goal. If the amount of fat that you wish to remove is small and you don’t have a significant amount of loose skin, you may want to consider CoolSculpting as your initial non-invasive option. Without an in-person exam or photos, it is hard to give a definitive answer, but I am inclined to suggest that liposuction may offer you the best results. I hope this helps. Good luck!
