3 months post op. I was simply looking for a little contouring, as I was already in good shape, but now I'm in a position where way too much fat was removed, especially from flanks. I don't have the loose skin or contour issues, rather that so much fat was removed, the iliac crest muscle, pubic muscle as well as rib cage are all protruding out with no fat in between. Do I have any options?

Answer: Liposuction results Dear therascaldude,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: To much fat removed from liposuction Excess removal of fat from liposuction can be a challenging problem to correct. The best option to correct this problem would be a fat transfer (taking fat from one area of the body and placing it in another).Although this may be your best option, the results can be unpredictable. In addition, you would need to have enough fat available, in other areas of your body, to successfully perform this procedure.I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon. He/she can evaluate you and determine whether you are a candidate for this procedure.Good luck!
