Contour Light - truth of myth?

Using the Contour Light or other lights that fall into the category of low level light therapy can certainly add to the benefits you have already seen from coolsculpting.  However, from my experience with LLLT it is not very predictable.  I used to offer it for patients, but I no longer have the laser for body contouring purposes since it was highly unpredictable (some patients would see minimal change while about 20% of the time it would be very drastic- for no apparent reason).  I feel like the best use for the various LLLT devices is more for general rejuvenation and wound healing.  It is an extremely safe treatment and can definitely assist with body contouring.  The most popular treatments I use in the office for body contouring are: Coolsculpting, Thermi 250, Vanquish ME, Ultrashape and acoustic wave therapy (Zwave and Cellutone- both are great acoustic wave massage devices that, when combined with ANY other body contouring treatment, improve the result and comfort while reducing post treatment swelling and discomfort).  Combination therapy, from my experience, is the way to get the best result for non-surgical body contouring.  Cheers, Dr. J.D.
