Orlistat or Alli is an over-the-counter weight loss pill that works by blocking the absorption of about 25% of the fat that you eat. Cool sculpting is a non-invasive way to shape problem areas by locally breaking down fat cells. The Alli does not stop you from re-absorbing the contents of those ruptured fat cells in other areas of your body. It only works to block a portion of the fat you eat from entering through your GI tract. This growth of fat after coolsculpting is very rare but does happen. The only treatment that we know works at this time is liposuction. I have done 3 cases so far and have used vaser liposuction to treat with good results.
