Is Renuvion as effective on the inner thighs?

Does Renuvion work well on inner thighs? I had it on the front of my thighs and so far I am pleased with the results but I'm wondering if in general inner thigh tissue responds in the same way as front of thigh? Do there tend to be more complications? Is it as predictable as front of thigh? Is the satisfaction rate the same? Wondering what to possibly expect... thank you

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, Renuvion can work well on the inner thighs, particularly when there is mild to moderate skin laxity and good underlying skin quality. The mechanism of tissue contraction is the same as on the front of the thighs.

That said, I generally consider the inner thigh a little less predictable than the anterior thigh. The skin tends to be thinner, there is usually a looser fatty pocket that benefits from some form of liposuction rather than just renuvion alone. However, if there is substantial loose or hanging skin, an energy-based treatment cannot reproduce what an actual thigh inner lift can accomplish.

Complication rates would be the same as in any other part of the thigh. In the right patient, inner-thigh improvement can be very worthwhile—I would simply set slightly more conservative expectations for how much tightening can be achieved.
