I want my nose to be slimmer from the front. What are my options ? I heard nose threads would be good. Any way I can avoid a rhinoplasty ? I want my nose slimmer from the front and less big from the side maybe

Hello and thank you for your question and the picture. Unfortunately, there aren't any good non-surgical options which would properly achieve what you're looking for! Threads do NOT make the nose slimmer or smaller. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (including the bridge, nostrils, and tip)!

That said, rhinoplasty truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually).

With nonsurgical rhinoplasty it would be possible to build up the bridge of your nose, and thereby create a more refined and narrow appearance from the frontal view. Making the radix (area of the bridge above the bump) taller, or augmenting the radix, will result in a straight profile and the illusion of hump removal. Some mild refinement of the tip may also be possible, depending on the thickness and elasticity of your tip skin. For significant tip refinement, surgical rhinoplasty would be necessary. Seeking an expert in nonsurgical rhinoplasty will give you the best result in the safest manner. #drdonyoo

I know you are looking to avoid rhinoplasty, but there are no other reliable methods for achieving significant nasal narrowing other than surgical. Nasal thread lifting may not lead to a narrower appearance. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

There are great non-surgical options with HA fillers like Versa, Restylane and Juvéderm to make your nose appear slimmer. Be sure to look at many before and after pictures to be comfortable with the doctor you choose to help achieve your desired results.
