Can raising your heart rate post breast augmentation cause serious complications? (photos)

Thank you for your excellent question.  An increased heart rate by itself will not cause any problems with your recovery.  Nonetheless I tell my patients to avoid doing anything that will increase their heart rate for at least two weeks after surgery because I don't want them to do any heavy lifting or strenuous physical activity during that time and heart rate is a good indicator that you may be over exerting yourself.  What we worry about is doing donething that could start some bleeding and result in a hematomabtgat would need to be surgically drained. Non strenuous walking shouldn't be a problem and as long as your breasts look good and there is no unusual swelling or bruising you should be fine.  If your headaches and chest pain don't resolve you should check back with your surgeon or see your regular doctor.  I hope this helps. 

Thank you for your question.  I seriously doubt that you have done damage to your breast implants by raising your heart rate during walking.The concern would be that if your blood pressure was significantly elevated it could cause bleeding, however you would certainly no if you have increased bleeding around her implants.Your photo looks excellent.  I encouraged by patients not to engage in vigorous physical activity that can raise their heart rate for the first 3 weeks after breast augmentation surgery.If you have concerns you definitely should see your plastic surgeon for an examination.
