I had a sliding genioplasty two years ago to improve my facial balance, but I’m not fully satisfied with the outcome. Given the time that has passed, I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for further refinement to better achieve my aesthetic goals. I’d appreciate any insights you can share.

Answer: Neck and chin refinement after genioplasty
In the profile photo your chin is prominent with a deep mentolabial fold. It is probably a bit short in the vertical dimension. A reduction genioplasty would diminish the amount of projection and slightly lengthen the chin to reduce the depth of the mentolabial fold.

In my professional opinion, you should not have your sliding genioplasty before your DJ S. It will skew your orthodontic analysis and facial analysis for your DJS. Additionally, the prior surgery would create scar tissue from that surgery that may hamper your DJS

Your chin looks long in the frontal view because it is recessive. Moving it forward it would give you better profile with increased projection and a better frontal view with a shorter balanced chin. It's require a sliding genioplasty with advancement....
