Will a Chin Implant provide enough projection for my recessed chin? (photos)

Genioplasty would be a better option for you in my opinion. The recovery is a bit more, but if you go to someone who does it frequently, the recovery is not bad. It is a better long term result, and you need about 1cm of advancement. A chin implant may make your jawline a bit wide as well and from what I can see you don't need it. A big chin implant is hard to get in, or it means a bigger incision to get it in easier. Talk to a few surgeons and see what resonates with you the best.

The question is not whether a chin implant will provide benefits but what exact amount of added projection looks the most beneficial to you.
