I'm 27 and considering having custom peek mandibular / jaw / gonial implants to augment my jaw. I have seen images of skulls that show that they shrink as we age which made me think that what happens 20 / 40 / 60 years post surgery as the skull changes shape to the implants? Will they come loose and wobble or detach completely if the screws loosen or the implant no longer conforms perfectly to the receding bone?
