Nose filler dissolved - is there any possibility that there is some filler left?

We have had several occasions where patients have presented to us with previous HA and would request rhinoplasty surgery. This has prompted visits for the dissolving enzyme, and we have seen nearly all HA go away with one dissolving enzyme treatment. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Restylane are temporary and typically last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the individual and the treatment area. Given your last treatment was in July 2018 and you've also undergone hyaluronidase treatments in 2022, it's likely that most, if not all, of the filler has been dissolved or metabolized by your body.
However, as you mentioned, it's difficult to guarantee without a thorough examination. A small amount of filler could potentially still be present, even if it's not visually noticeable.
For your upcoming rhinoplasty, it's crucial to let your surgeon know about your previous filler treatments and your subsequent hyaluronidase treatments. This information is essential for planning the surgery and minimizing potential complications.
