Botched bbl from years ago, uneven stomach, no hips and a really bad looking butt with banana rolls, don’t know if the fat migrated or if it’s loose skin. I scheduled for operation but second guessing it. He wants to liposuction my banana rolls and saddlebags and transfer to my hips, but a lot of doctors in sweden don’t seem to know to much about creating the hourglass shape and i’ve also read that the butt can start to hang from lipo under it and wondering if that’s maybe what happened already?
Answer: Botched BBL, uneven stomach, ugly and hanging butt banana rolls. What are my options? Thank you for your question and photos. Your observations are correct and I agree with your gut instinct. Please do not allow anyone to liposuction your banana rolls and hips. Your hips are asymmetrical already and liposuctioning these areas will change your feminine shape to a masculine shape. If you think that your results are bad, the proposed surgery will make it worse. Your problem is being misdiagnosed and the procedure is based on that. First of all, your buttock creases are at a different level, your right buttock is smaller then the left, you have adhesions, scarring and cellulite. To address these areas you will need release of the retracted scars and cellulite of the buttocks and biostimulation to improve the skin and improve vascularity to these areas. This is the procedure that will reshape and rejuvenate the buttocks for you. To address the rest of your results, you will need everything redone. This will not be easy and might not fully improve these areas. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

Answer: Recommend having a revision of liposuction followed by morpheus8 or ultherapy to help even out lumps and saggy skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: BBL results To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally always need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. Without knowing what you look like before the procedure, it’s difficult to understand why the outcome looks the way it does. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then contact your previous provider and ask them to forward the pictures they took. There are generally two variables that determine cosmetic surgical outcomes. The first is the candidacy of the patient and the second is the skill and experience of the provider. I think in this case both were contributing. Your picture shows significant skin laxity on your abdomen and skin. Laxity is probably the number one reason patients failed to get quality liposuction, and to some degree fat transfer results. You also have some cellulite which could be made worse from fat transfer. To find the right provider, I suggest patients have multiple in person, consultations with providers in their community if possible. I generally do not recommend patients rely on virtual consultation if it all possible, and I generally do not recommend traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures, though I recognize sometimes there may be a lack of local talent. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you the before, and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results will look like, What your results are likely to look like or how many of these procedures as surgeon has actually done. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is far more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who truly mastered this procedure are in a small minority. Considering how much variation there is in Liposuction skill and experience, my recommendation is patience should consider having fiber six consultations before selecting a provider. Revision work is many times more difficult, and complex and primary procedures so the importance of provider selection that becomes even greater. It’s important to have your before and after pictures so if you don’t have those, please try to obtain them. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
