I had lipo on July 18 on my upper/lower abdomen and flanks ,there was an obvious area that wasn’t properly done around my belly button. So they had me come back August 29th for lipo again. Regardless it still ended up looking like this. I would rather not go through it again but I want to fix this soon. Is there anything I can do to fix it ? Exercise? Other noninvasive treatments? Or will I have to do lipo again ? I tried to add all angles. At this point it’s been just sbout 6 months.
Answer: Morpheus8 and ultherapy help in some areas but a liposuction revision will be needed to address larger areas. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Liposuction results To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures if you’ve had more than one operation, then you should include it before and after pictures of each of the procedures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward, the pictures they took. There are four variables that determine what the abdomen looks like. If somebody doesn’t like the way, it looks then the problem can almost always be reduced down to one or more of those four variables. They are 1) abdominal skin laxity due to previous pregnancies or weight loss2) excess subcutaneous fat3) muscle separation from previous pregnancy4) excess visceral or intra-abdominal fat Based on your pictures, it looks like you have significant skin laxity from previous pregnancies. This lessons, you candidacy for Liposuction, and means Liposuction may not give you high-quality results. If you’ve had the area treated twice with Liposuction that it may not be related to fat distribution, but could also be how the skin drapes, considering that you have skin laxity, the shape of your abdominal wall or a combination. My best guess is that you were not an ideal candidate for Liposuction together with choosing a provider who really wasn’t that great at Liposuction. I don’t think there is any non-surgical treatment to improve your outcome. Converting the procedure to a full tummy tuck may restore your abdomen to a far better looking outcome. To get a quality assessment, I suggest scheduling in person second opinion consultation. For proper second opinion, consultations come prepared bringing with you complete sets of before and after pictures and copies of your previous operative reports. These are all available from your current provider upon request. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD.
