I was told I don't have much fat to work with and they recommended the stem cells to be injected with my fat to retain 100% of what they will inject instead of losing the 30% your body naturally absorbs..Is this a true statement? Worth the extra $1200 Is my wish pic unrealistic? They want to lipo bra roll, lower back and waist and said hopefully they will have enough fat how much ccs am I looking for they did not give a cc estimate.. I am 5'4 approx 150lbs large bone structure toned
Answer: Questionable Claims While your photos suggest that you would benefit from a Brazilian Butt Lift, some of the claims you stated are unsubstantiated. Liposuctioned fat contains stem cells and there are devices that help to concentrate the stem cells. Experimentally, the addition of stem cells to fat may improve survival, but the research is not yet conclusive and the practice clinically remains experimental. At this time it is impossible to guarantee 100% fat survival. The additional $1200 expenditure is a gamble at best at this time.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Stem cell with BBL Stem cell are extremely important to healing of injured body parts, as well as regenerating lost tissue. Having had experience with buttock augmentation and BBL for years, I have noticed that preservation of the stem cell within the injected fat, or addition of stem cell, will greatly enhance the longevity of the buttock augmentation and reduces loss of volume.

Answer: Stem Cells injected with fat transfer BBL to retain all injected fat? Worth extra cost? Really true? I do not offer the stem cell augmentation during the BBL, because I have not found it necessary. I do not think that anyone should guarantee 100% take. At your height and weight and judging from your photos, I would not any difficulty giving you a marked improvement. I operated on three patients last week who were 115 lbs and got at least 700 cc per buttock. I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Stem Cell Fat Transfer Dear Fit, Isolating pure stem cells from lipoaspirate (liposuctioned fat) is not feasible in the current clinical operating room setting. Something called the "stromal vascular fraction," which is the layer containing the stem cells can be isolated and reinjected. Depending on the fat processing method, the stromal vascular fraction may be routinely reinjected for gluteal augmentation procedures, as it is in my practice. However, beware of marketing ploys and catchy advertising terms. There are very few stem cells found in liposuctioned fat as a percentage of total volume, probably not enough to actually effect the percentage of fat cell "take". So, although it all sounds very futuristic, fancy and advanced, none of it is proven in the clinical human setting. As far as cc estimates, only an in person examination can determine an estimate and depending on processing techniques may vary rather widely. Your wish pic is not unrealistic. Good luck!

Answer: Stem cells You have to know that fat, as tissue itself has a lot of stem cells, so there is no enough research to support that we have to ADD any more to improve or reduce absorption rates. If the liposuction is done properly, the fat is treated properly and fat is transferred properly, then the absorption rate will be about 10-20% normally. There is no way to expect 0% absorption.Based on your photos I would suggest also lipo to your abdomen in order to obtain a good 4-5 litters of fat and then obtain 1200-1500 cc of fat to transfer into your butt (50% per butt cheek) and I trully consider 600-750cc will be perfect for your frame in order to achieve the results you want.Have a great journey and love your results.Dr. Cardenas
