I plan to do quite a lot of plastic surgery in 2026 after losing 50 kg, but I'm also planning a nose job and a facelift, but I'm interested in how much time there must be between the surgeries. Is it dangerous to undergo long anesthesia in a short period of time, and what are the consequences? Because the nose surgery the doctor I work with does more than 8-9 hours, and I will also be under anesthesia a lot for body operations, so I am interested in how dangerous this is
Answer: Multiple procedures There is really no right or wrong answer to your question. Personally I don’t like to operate in a patient first more than 6 hours at one time. Operations can be combined in various ways and I’m sure your surgeon can guide you on this

Answer: Multiple surgeries As long as you are in good health, a long surgery should be ok. However, we do recommend stages for safest recovery. While multiple surgeries are common after massive weight loss, you should not do entire body in one setting. Frequently, abdomen and torso can be performed. Breasts and arms together is a good combo. Face may be combined with some body for easier recovery, etc. Planning should be with you and your plastic surgeon. Target most difficult recovery and/or what areas bother you most first. In my experience, several weeks to months between stages is best. The patient needs to be able to undergo and recover from another surgery, which can vary person to person.

Answer: Staged Planning Is Important Hi, First of all, congratulations on your incredible 50 kg weight loss — that’s a major achievement and a strong foundation for your upcoming aesthetic journey. When planning multiple plastic surgeries, especially after massive weight loss, it’s absolutely essential to prioritize safety, proper staging, and recovery between procedures. While it’s technically possible to combine multiple surgeries in a single session, this depends on your overall health, BMI, nutritional status, and surgical goals. That being said, I wouldn't recommend combining body surgeries and face surgeries. Regarding your question: ⏱️ How long should you wait between surgeries? In general, I recommend waiting 3 to 6 months between major procedures to allow your body to fully recover and stabilize, especially when surgeries involve large areas (such as tummy tuck, body lift, breast work, etc.). This also gives your surgeon time to assess healing and make any adjustments for optimal results in the next stage. Theoretically speaking, it is also possible to have another round of anesthesia the following day (for example if you have hematoma). But when combining surgeries, it is better to wait.

Answer: It is better to start with body surgeries! Hello, I’ll rather to start with body surgeries that can be combined, for example 360 degrees tummy tuck with liposuction and maybe thighs surgery, because after those you will loose more weight and your facial features will change. I’ll leave the rinoplastia and facelift for the end and you can wait between 4-6 months between surgery
