I recently found out I have the duplicate gene mutation MTHFR with 2 copies of the 1298 gene. I am scheduled for surgery in Feb 2025 and am hesitant to move forward with surgery. My Dr also told me I have LP(a)- not sure what it's role would play in surgery. I am very anxious about my procedure as I recently had a breast biopsy done and had complications from that; found I have PASH and also developed a hematoma the size of a baseball. Can any of this hinder recovery for plastic surgeries?
