Keep getting nostril slit/cut (Photo)

Question

I keep getting a slit/cut (small) in my nose at the bottom. I get it like every 2 months and it takes weeks to heal. Why?

Anyone can develop Wounds like you have at the base of the nose, especially when there is a runny nose. Sometimes a runny nose is exacerbated after rhinoplasty surgery, and this can lead to red inflammation and fissures of the nasal vestibule. If a small fisher like this continues to develop, you can try hydrocortisone Anti-itch cream with a Q-tip to see if this is helpful. Thank you. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
