Yes this is fat and it can easily be removed with lipo. It is a simple procedure that takes around 15 minutes total under mild sedation. The cost normally ranges around $600-$800
Hello, and thank you for your question regarding a patch of fat on your lower back and could you get it removed with lipo? Thank you for your history and your pictures. Based on your pictures, you have an isolated area of fat in the lower sacral region above the vertical gluteal crease. Liposuction is ideal for isolated pockets of fat. Therefore, in your condition, since you have an isolated pocket of fat in the lower sacral region, this could be removed with liposuction. Low back / sacral liposuction can be done either in the office under local or twilight anesthesia or in the operating room under general anesthesia, depending on your comfort level. Recovery is approximately one week for low back / sacral liposuction. You will need to wear your compression garment for the six weeks to minimize swelling. Most plastic surgeons offer free virtual or in-office physical consultations. Therefore, explore what other plastic surgeons have to say. If you have any further questions about low back/sacral liposuction, please consult an experienced plastic surgeon. Please consult an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon with a proven track record in liposuction. Ensure they have performed numerous liposuction surgeries and have the before-and-after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before-and-after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. If you cannot find an experienced plastic surgeon in your area, consider traveling to another state. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Hi! hope all is well. Yes, the small fat patch on your lower back, just above your buttocks, can be removed with liposuction. This is a common area for liposuction, and many patients choose this procedure to enhance the contour of their lower back and improve the overall shape of the buttocks. A consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon would help determine the best approach based on your specific body shape and goals.
Fat deposits above the tailbone is a common complaint. This is one of my favorite areas for liposuction since it makes a tremendous difference. The goal would be to create a smooth transition from the back to the buttock, so clothing fits much better.
Hello Natalia and thank you for posting photos along with your question! YES!!! I regularly take care of this area above the buttocks which commonly has a collection of fat and has a very puffy type appearance to it. From the photos you posted it seems like this is the case in your situation but the only way to really tell is by an in person consultation so that it can be assessed to make sure it is just fat and nothing else. The other good news is, if you feel like this one area is making your butt seem flatter than it is, not only will liposuctioning that make your butt look better, but performing liposuction of your lower back (right above your butt on both sides) can also make your butt look better and BIGGER! Fat pads such as in the tailbone area are easy to remove with liposuction under tum. local and would be so worth it.
Thank you for your question and photo. That is a very common area for liposuction with really nice results. liposuction of the the lower back region esp the central area will create a nice contour and silhouette. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. best wishes.
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears that you would be an excellent candidate for liposuction to reduce the prominence of this low-back adipose collection to improve buttock contour. Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss.
Yes, this can be improved with liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and lift to the butt. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
The answer is liposuction sculpting. I have done this area thousands of times. As long as it's fat, it's going to look great with liposuction. No need for general anesthesia. Quick recovery if performed under local anesthesia with tiny cannulas. I like one single incision well hidden in the to post of the midline buttock fold.
