How long does it take for swelling to go completely down after getting mildly hit on the side of my nose?

Today, I got hit on the side of my nose by a rubber duck that my little sister threw at me. It only hurt for a minute or two, & then I got a bump on the side of my nose. I didn't get hit hard, & I'm pretty sure my nose didn't break from a rubber duck. My nose didn't bleed or anything, but I feel mildly sore (which went away later that day). So will the bump go away, & will the swelling go down? If so, then how long would it take? & how should I treat it? Thank you in advanced!!

I would call your surgeon and ask.  There is not much that a.) can go wrong with a splint in place, and b.) can be doneI would relax, but might be a quick ? for your PS on Monday

Thank you for your question. Typically, nasal telangiectasias (aka spider veins) respond very well to laser treatments that target red lesions and it is fine to have a laser treatment 3 months before a rhinoplasty/septoplasty. It would be best to avoid laser treatments to the nose 6-8 weeks...
