Will a CoolTech treatment for inner thighs make my skin in the inner thighs more loose? (Photo)

I am not over weight, and do sports regularly but my skin on the inder thighs are a bit losse. I have had Sculpsure 3 years ago one time on the same areas. No really effect. However, I have read that Cooltech might be a better treatment for the inder thighs?

I’m assuming you’re referring to CoolSculpting treatments, which are a wonderful way of creating thigh gap without surgery or downtime. CoolSculpting uses cold temperatures to disrupt fat cells so they disintegrate and are permanently removed from your body. From your photo, you don’t look like you have loose skin in the inner thigh area. CoolSculpting doesn’t create more loose skin. However, if you have poor quality skin, removing fat sometimes makes your skin look droopy. CoolSculpting does have some skin-tightening effects. My recommendation is to consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert at using CoolSculpting combined with Zimmer Z-wave radial pulsed therapy to create thigh gap, so your skin can be evaluated in person. If you’re at risk for sagging (which I doubt!), then adding Ultherapy or ThermiTight could help.

Thank you for your question and photograph.  CoolSculpting is a terrific treatment for a designated area of fat ion the inner thighs.  Fat reduction is gradual and skin does retract.  Best to consult with an experienced CoolSculpting technologist and physician who will be able to guide you regarding surgical and non-surgical choices.  Good luck.

Thank you for your question!  Coolsculpting works incredibly with reducing fat in the inner thighs.  You can expect about a 20% reduction with each treatment, so most patients require 2 rounds of treatment to achieve the desired results.  Coolsculpting will not create additional skin laxity in the inner thighs, however, it is not FDA approved to tighten the skin in that area either.  If you wish to reduce the fat and tighten the skin, you might consider a Smart Lipo procedure instead.

Good question!  CoolSculpting can be used to treat fatty deposits of the inner thighs.  The treatment is strictly for fatty deposits.  Once the fat is frozen and eliminated, the skin may slowly retract (depending on your skin quality and amount of loose skin).  You should visit a CoolSculpting provider for a consultation to see if this is a good treatment option for you to meet your goals.

Hello, and thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is a noninvasive fat reduction treatment. The cooling technology is used to freeze the fat cells in the treated area. Once these fat cells are frozen they are removed from the body through the lymphatic system. Based on the photo that you provided you seem to be a good candidate for the inner thigh treatment. It does not appear that you have laxity in the skin in your inner thighs based on the photo provided, so you should not have sagging skin after the treatment. I would recommend setting up a consultation with a certified Coolsculpting provider in your area to determine the best treatment plan for you. Most patients opt to get re-treatments in the same area for maximum results of up to 40-50% fat cell reduction.
