CoolSculpting following a full hysterectomy: I have a good handful of excess fat from the weight gain.

I recently had a full hysterectomy in April this year ! 4 months on now my scar is healed but I have a good handful of access fat from the weight gained ! Would I be able to have cool sculpturing done in the area of my abdomin with my scar being upwards right through the centre? I have had this procedure before although last year before having a hysterectomy. Thank you

Thank you for your question.  Nausea is not associated with a CoolSculpting treatment.  Post bruising, swelling, redness, cramping and pain can occur in the treated area.  Best of luck.

CoolSculpting is contraindicated when one has an abdominal hernia. A hiatal hernia which usually occurs at the gastro-esophageal junction should not be a problem.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues after coolsculpting. So most of the time the mesh is placed either under or over the fascia and coolsculpting should not affect that at all. Mild discomofrt and some irregularities on palpation are expected after coolsculpting and will gradually fade off....

Coolsculpting is a great way to contour without surgery. But the results take time up to 3 months to see full result. Also most people require more then on treatment. for best result consider 3 treatments about a month apart. but at the minimum should plan on 2 treatments.
