Iv been reading a lot online saying that candidates had to put on weight if there is not sufficient fat.... I work out quite regularly to build size in my legs but no matter how hard I try but butt doesn't seen to grow! I would like to be more hippy with a bigger butt just like in the picture is it possible with my physique?! Iv also heard about buttock re shaping I don't have much volume at the top of my butt
Answer: No you are not a good candidate for a BBL Based on your photos you are not a good candidate for a BBL. You do not have enough fat to transfer - I would not recommend gaining weight for this procedure either as gained weight dispurses all over the body not to just one area.

Answer: I'm 5'4, 119lbs, petite Asian. Am I a candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift? (photos) Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with moderate BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL vs Butt Implant I never ask my patients to gain weight for a BBL, for 2 reasons. First when you gain weight, you are not increasing the number of fat cells, you are only filling this cells more. the moment you loose the weight, you will also loose it on the graft. Second, How can i guarantee that this weight you gained will be in areas where i will be able to easily suction?? i don't agree in huge liposuction of all the body, Liposuction is for localized fat, not for loosing weight. Trust me you will have left over after your surgery if you gain weight.I have a simple Surgery selection criteria for Buttocks augmentation, Shape. If you like the shape of your Buttocks, then implants will always be the best, and more lasting solution. If you want to reshape your buttocks, in my hands Fat is the best option. If you want to reshape and augment and you have enough fat, then a BBL will be enough, but if you don't have enough fat, we will use the fat available to reshape and Implants to augment.A few other colleagues offer online consultations where you send us your photos and we can estimate the cost. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and discuss what will be the proper treatment to achieve the result you desires.Regards,Dr. Luis Redondo
