Sensitivity to the tip after a non-surgical nose job - is this common?

Mild sensitivity, tingling, or firmness in the tip of the nose, especially in cold weather, can occur after dermal filler injections. This is usually due to temporary changes in how the skin and soft tissues react to temperature, particularly since the tip of the nose is an area with thinner skin and less insulation. The sensation you're feeling may also be due to minor nerve irritation or pressure from the filler, and it tends to resolve with time.

However, if the discomfort worsens, the skin changes color (e.g., turns white or dusky), or the area feels persistently hard or inflamed, it’s important to get evaluated immediately to rule out more serious concerns like vascular compromise.

This may be due to a decrease in circulation to the nasal tip from the filler. Usually fillers do not cause persistent sensation issues.

Way to get clarity about your situation would be to visit your surgeon, or another reputable non-surgical nose job expert. If you had a temporary jail filler, and if you're in pain, it may be worth trying to have it dissolved. In the hours after nonsurgical rhinoplasty, blanching or darkening of the skin and increasing pain would be things to touch base with your surgeon about immediately as this can indicate an issue with the blood supply to the skin. Days and weeks after an injection, this is no longer a concern. Redness, tenderness, and other signs of infection should be taken seriously. In the absence of infection, little sensations here and there like a "tingly" sensation can be normal. Best to have an in person exam with your provider whenever you are concerned.
