Unless someone can show you at least 4 - 5 cases where Emsculpt was successful in “eliminating and tightening the bra strap/back roll fat bulge” then i would say “No”. when viewing patient outcomes make sure that you are shown results that are at least 6+ months out from the procedure. If not, then the gold standard for the bra strap bulge and back roll fat is liposuction +/- a bra-straplasty which is similar to a tummy tuck but to the back bra-strap region. Glad to be of help.
Hi. I think that Emsculpt is great technology for what it is designed for as a noninvasive treatment for other areas. For the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, arms and other areas I think it can give nice results as a noninvasive treatment. I would not recommend it however for the bra roll areas. In my practice SmartLipo is my go to procedure for bra roll's. I do liposuction with that but am aiming to get additional skin tightening with the SmartLipo technology, which is a key component of what is needing to be corrected with typical bra roll's. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon with good experience with body contouring to go over these options with you. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell
no, emsculpt treatments are for muscular toning but do nott tighten skin well. you would need liposuction and/or skin removal. internal heating should be done at the same time. Best, Dr. Emer.
Yes, Emsculpt will work on your back to help eliminate and tighten bra bulge. Emsculpt is a great way to burn fat in targeted areas.
EmSculpt works on muscles and can strengthen the back to eliminate the appearance of bra bulge. However to target fat, we recommend CoolSculpting, injectable deoxycholic acid, or lipo.
Hello sincere2138:Unfortunately, while Emsculpt is great for strengthening and defining muscles and reducing fat it cannot be used for the bra fat or anywhere on the back because you cannot deliver it’s magnetic pulses anywhere near the chest wall. The thinking is this could potential change electrical pulses that allow the heart to contract normally.CoolSculpting is great for bra fat, or you could consider liposuction for this area. Thank you for your question.Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
Thank you for your question. Emsculpt is a medical device which stimulates muscular contractions to tone muscle while burning fat. It is FDA cleared for treatment of the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, calfs, biceps and triceps. The area you described will not benefit from Emsculpt and in fact is contraindicated because patients should not be treated over the chest wall. Depending on the severity of your bra roll there are a number of options including liposuction combined with an energy device such as Renuvion or BodyTite, Coolsculpting, Vanquish Me, etc. I would suggest an in-person consultation to determine the best course of action.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
This treatment only strengthens muscles temporarily.Even though skin folds on the back are primarily due to skin laxity they sometimes have nice improvements from well done Liposuction.Emaculpt it’s probably a complete waste of money for this area.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello and thanks for your question. Yes Emsculpt would be a good option but we would also consider adding in other body shaping/sculpting treatments. Always seek a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes
Hello sibellam:Emsculpt should not be performed over or very near any metal implants. It is never performed over or near the heart, so you would be safe to have this treatment.Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
Emsculpt has 2 settings for patients who have your concerns. Using protocol 2 will safely build muscle and lift your buttocks while preserving fat.
Hello and thanks for your question. Yes Emsculpt is an ideal treatment for post partum concerns. We use this treatment particularly for diastasis recti and it really helps tone and close the separation of the muscles. Always go to a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes
