Hi Blablabla,I hope that you and your friends and family (congratulations on your baby!) are well in New York City. Given our current pandemic, you are going to have to wait at least 4 more weeks before Emsculpt will be available due to the current stay at home recommendations. In general it is safe to have Emsculpt, Coolsculpting, and Excelis 2 to 4 weeks postpartum. Good luck and stay well.Dr. P
any of these magnetic / muscle stimulation devices can be used 1-2 weeks after pregnancy. the earlier you start (along with hormonal and peptide treatments) can get you back in shape after pregnancy. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello blablabla1r:You can safely have Emsculpt several weeks after delivery, at minimum two weeks. It will indeed help with the separation of your abdominal muscles, and help you to strengthen and tighten them as well. We also have Emsella, which tightens up the pelvic floor muscles and is FDA approved for urinary incontinence, a common problem after childbirth (or Menopause). We love to let our Emsculpt patients try out the Emsella. We would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
Hello Blablabla1r, Congratulations on your new baby and thank you for your question, in general 4-6 weeks post delivery is safe to perform Emsculpt.
Thank you for your question and congratulations on your new baby! Along with improving muscle tone and burning fat, Emsculpt can also help treat “diastasis recti” also known as the separation of the abdominal muscles. This is common during pregnancy. It’s best to wait at least 3-6 months post partum and no longer breastfeeding to begin any treatment. Please seek a board-certified dermatologist to determine if you are an ideal candidate for this treatment at that time.
Thank you for your question. Provided you have not had a C-section, you could safely have the Emsculpt procedure performed 4 to 6 weeks following your delivery provided you have not had significant weight gain with your pregnancy. By your description of your goals, I would anticipate that is not a major concern.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
At one week postpartum I suggest you focus exclusively on your own health and the well-being of your child. This is probably not the time to be thinking about cosmetic procedures.I suggest waiting a minimum of six months to let your body recover on its own first.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello and thanks for your question. Yes Emsculpt is an ideal treatment for post partum concerns. We use this treatment particularly for diastasis recti and it really helps tone and close the separation of the muscles. Always go to a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes
