I'm thinking of doing it but I'm not sure of the cost. I want my nose completely changed. I just wish it wasn't so fat/swollen looking. I also want my side profile to look different. Do you think I need a lip lift as well?

Based on your photos you may benefit from the refinement of your tip and dorsal augmentation which can be performed by my own technique using bone dust obtained during surgery and the septal cartilage. The Dorsal Roof Technique protects the dorsal anatomy but fixes the deformity and moreover, supports your dorsum by using the excessive tissue instead of excision.

Based off of your photographs, I think your expectations and desires are reasonable.Your recovery often depends on whether your surgeon ultimately uses an endonasal (closed/incision-less) approach versus an open/external approach, as the later can have more significant and longer lasting swelling. There are many advantages to the endonasal approach so be sure to find a Facial Plastic Surgeon that has a lot of experience with this approach. Best of luck!

Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. This can be designed to help the symmetry of your nose. I don't recommend a lip lift for you at this time. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon. If you cannot find enough real before and after pictures, then consider continuing your search for a surgeon.
