I have a lot of muscle pain in and around my left breast for over a year now and getting worse. It looks distorted and I wonder if the implant has turned upside down as it's quite flat.

Answer: Distorted breast Thank you for your question. It is hard to tell based off just one picture to say for certainty of capsular contracture. However, if your breast has become more distorted and painful, then it is likely that you have capsular contracture. Your right breast is clearly a different shape than your left, and the nipple location is higher. You would benefit from a revision of both breasts to get rid of any contour regularity as well. Good luck.

Answer: Capsular contracture Dear Roxymoe, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
