Is it normal to have fever days after fat transfer? I had abdomen liposuction 1.5 months ago.

Everything was ok. Two weeks after that i made fat transfer to calves. It's been one month since i did it with local anestesia. I did not took any antibiotic after the fat transfer. Few days after i made it i noticed that i had fever around 37,2. It's been 4 weeks now, and almost nothing stayed from the fat i transfered in my calves, but i still have fever 37,2 to 37,5 the whole time. Can it be as a result from the fat transfer?

Hello! Pain should be improved by 8 months. I typically recommend massaging out the tender areas at least twice a day with moisturizers - body butter or body oils. You need more liposuction or non invasive treatments there is more fat there. maybe have swelling that can be reduced with body treatments such a vanquish and coolsculpting, massaging and compression can also help.  Best, Dr. Emer.
