9 months post op - How to improve my facelift scars? (Photos)

I have had a facelift 9 months ago and I am actually devastated about the scars, especially on one side. I have had 5 microneedling sessions, 2xRF, CO2, this is how the scars look now. What is your professional opinion on my scars? Should I have a revision or is there any other way to improve them?

Thank you for the question. It would be helpful to know exactly what you are hoping to achieve in terms of your scar appearance. While scars can be minimized in most cases, it is impossible to prevent a scar whenever a skin incision is made. A scar revision is certainly an option and may help to achieve a more refined result. I would recommend discussing this with the surgeon who performed your procedure to best address your goals.

Hello and thank you for your question. Scarring following surgery can vary between individuals. Given that you are 9 months out from your procedure, you may benefit from daily massage to help break down scar tissue and flatten the appearance. If you are still concerned about the appearance, an in person consultation with your surgeon would be reasonable to consider a possible scar revision.

Your scars healed beautifully. I would not recommend doing anything . You have a lovely result and your surgeon did a good job
