Unhappy with my nose - what can I do to help change its appearance and achieve a narrow tip / straight line from radix? (photos)

Question

I am very unhappy with my nose and nostrils, especially when I smile, as they are very wide. Also want a narrower tip and a straighter line from the radix (which is very deep). I think it is difficult to see what would suit me and what can and should be done with my starting point. I would like advice, as I find that different surgeons have very different views on what should be done in my case.

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo your nose tip is over projected and the nostrils are very asymmetric. For get rid of this image an gain more elegant, enough projected, slimmer nose I recommend you revision rhinoplasty. Please keep in mind that %100 symmetry is not achievable in any case. Thankyou for your pictures for a better recommendation.Based on your pictures you may benefit from a nose job to straighten your nose, derotate your tip, and make it slimmer to enhance your facial features. Personally, I prefer Closed Atraumatic Technique which is the least invasive surgical approach with a relatively short downtime. Moreover, during rhinoplasty a wing surgery can also help to achieve similar nostril size and create harmony among your facial features.

Your nose is not likely to produce adequate cartilage graft material for augmentation and potential slight lengthening. In my practice rib cartilage graft is a good alternative but you would have to expect that the tip of the nose would feel firmer.

A computer simulation can help to determine the outcome of our that we will are more favourable for you as well as a set of foundation for a frank discussion about feasibility. In some instances 3D imaging can be more helpful to understand various angles when the bridge of the nose is relatively low.
