Hello Had my revision septo rhinoplasty last year in iran. My surgeon said its a difficult case anshe will try to make my nostrils symmetric 50% and if after 1 year im not satisfied or the result wasnt good enough he will ask me to come back and do skin composite graft to fix nostrils. And now its been 13 months post op i dont see 50% difference infact i see 15% so i am not satisfied. And inside right nostril has formed scar tissue since day 1. I sent pics to my dr but he kps saying its swellin

Hi there! I see what you're referring to. Thanks for your questions. Creating nostril symmetry is quite difficult. A composite graft, depending where it's placed, can help. Enlarging a nostril is often harder to do than creating a smaller one. As for any swelling, there could still be some present. Steroid injections if not performed already would be an option. If no improvement, then the scarring may need to be surgically removed. If you're not comfortable with your surgeon, seek consultation with another for a second opinion. Hope this helps!
