At least from the photos, there appears to be a great deal of static tension (if this photo was taken in repose) or dynamic tension (if taken when frowning). In either case, if this is so, then the simple of use of a few microdroplets of Botox into the muscles responsible for the frown and protrusion would ameliorate the problem in just a few days when the Botox takes full effect. Treatment, in experienced hands, should not take more than about two minutes literally to perform with little to no significant downtime afterward. Although the uses of Botox have expanded to treating so many different areas of the face, neck and chest over the years, treating the frown (scowl) lines was the very first area to be treated back in 1991 when I first started to inject Botox for cosmetic reasons.
