Ultherapy uses high intensity focused ultrasound energy and focuses the energy at 4.5 mm at the deepest level as visualized by B mode imaging. It will not effect deeper structures like salivary nodes or parotid glands. Make sure the Ultherapy procedure is being done by a physician or physician assistant under the supervision of a physician in a doctor's office. Thanks for your question. I think the most accurate answer is simply we don't know. While the depth of penetration should not affect your salivary glands, there is an association between sjogrens and scleroderma; if there are any scleroderma features to your process then I would actually be very concerned that ulthera could potentially cause some harm. There may be a few specialists who have detailed enough knowledge of these disease processes to make a more educated guess, but is unlikely they would have much experience with Ulthera. It is a tough question and tough situation for you, but I hope this helps.
Hello. Ultherapy utilizes focused Ultrasound, penetrating the skin to a maximum dept of 4.5 mm, so this will not affect salivary glands or tearducts. Please feel free to see your local dermatologist to ensure that you are a candidate for this procedure.Best of luck.
Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to tighten collagen and lift the skin. It will have no effect on the salivary glands or tear production, so is safe in a patient with laboratory values consistent with Sjogren's syndrome.
You can have fillers prior to Ultherapy andthere are no safety issues to having this, however, it will dissolve or break down your fillers so you would need them redone.
Thank you for your question.I give my patients ibuprofen 30 minutes before Ultherapy and recommend that they take it for another dy.I have done Ultherapy since 2010 and don't think that a small dose is deleterious or reduces its effectiveness.Read my Ultherapy ebook on the link below.Dr....
Thank you for your question and posting pictures. You may very well benefit from combination of Ultherapy and Sculptra treatments and possibly Thermitight as a minimal invasive procedure to address your concerns. You would need to have a consultation for precise recommendations.
