I prepaid 6 treatments of Skinpen+PRP however the plastic surgeon couldn't draw out my blood to spin for PRP for 2 treatments as he said my veins were very tiny and the veins moved. Does microneddling+PRP give better result than without PRP? Price is different by $250. Thanks

Answer: PRP w/Skin Pen. In my practice we have seen more dramatic results with the use of PRP with the Skin Pen. We too charge a $250 upcharge for PRP per treatment. However, we also use Tensage Growth Factors with Skin Pen and get great results too. Not everyone can afford the PRP but if you paid for it you deserve to get it. Maybe they can do an extra treatment to make up for the 2 PRP treatments you did not receive.

Answer: Better technic? First of all it should be possible to draw blood and I don’t see why the procedure should be aborted? There are many different veins that could be used for blood draw and unless if you have platelet deficiency you should have enough platelets for PRP procedure.
