I just had a consultation for Vaser Lipo and have signed up for Upper & Lower Abdomen + Waist & Flanks. The doctor recommended to do it in 4 sessions. One for lower abs, one for upper abs, one for left side of waist+flanks, one for right side of waist+flanks. My question: is 4 sessions too much? Can I do 1 session for lower and upper abdomen and 1 session for waist and flanks (backside)? Could use some guidance please! FYI: I'm 32, 68 kg, 160cm. Good muscle mass and very active lifestyle.
Answer: Vaser Lipo Done In 4 Separate Sessions Based on your demographics, and assuming you are in generally good health otherwise, there is no reason why you can't have all 4 areas treated in one procedure setting. Doing so will minimize your OR fees, anesthesia, and condense your recovery time from 4 separate to 1. It's more cost-effective and will enable you to enjoy your overall results more quickly.

Answer: Multiple surgeries Thank you for the question! If I were you, I would want to get as much done in one surgery as safely possible. Less surgeries Less downtime. If you do four separate surgeries, that is a lot of recovery time! Here, we are usually able to get the upper and lower abdomen, hips and flanks done in one case. If it is not safe (too much lidocaine, too long of a surgery) then we will split the surgery into two stages. I'd advise you to get a couple more consultations. That way, you have a better idea of what can be done. Good luck!

Answer: I'm getting Vaser Lipo for full abdomen, waist and flanks. Will 4 separate sessions be too much? Good day, thanks for your provided question, pictures and information. Each surgeons works differently, besides that regarding your information, this can be done in one procedure. One of the major benefits of vaser liposuction compared to traditional liposuction methods, is the minimal amount of damage to surrounding tissues. Vaser liposuction uses a smaller incision and soundwaves to liquefy the fat before it is removed from the body. Fat cells removed during a vaser liposuction are specifically targeted which allows the surgeon to provide the patient with a smoother and a more sculpted end result. Good luck!

Answer: High Definition Liposuction in one session You should have a single session to do the areas listed above. Please make sure that you choose a VASER specialist who performs HD Lipo 360. You may want to have a virtual consultation with a VASER specialist is there are no providers near you.

Answer: Four separate surgeries for full abdomen each doctor will have their own way of doing things. Based on your weighing 68 kg I would easily do all four areas in one surgery. I would also most likely encouraged you to include your back and armpit. Still I would do this in one surgery. You could add arms or inner thighs or chin and still do it in one surgery. I would do this with you awake in the office without general anesthesia. Just me and how I do things. Different doctors different opinions. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
