I have had a Vaser HD liposuction done on my abdomen and the lines of the definition is a bit too defined and they are visible without contraction. I am not happy with the Lines showing and I want to get rid of them somehow. My question, Is there any ways to get rid of the lines of definitions from the HD liposuction? Will fat transfer to the lines be an option?
Answer: High density vaser liposuction High density vaser liposuction is a way to create muscle definition by suctioning key areas and leaving pockets of fat that appears as “muscle”. Yes you can have fat transfer to the dents to smoothen the overall appearance or you can also redistribute the remaining fat pockets to the dented lines to create a smoother look.

Answer: 4D VASER HI DEF Liposculpture -- with ThermiRF, Renuvion, BodyTite, Fat Grafting, Skin Tightening, Cellulite, Skin Laxity You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods that do very poorly for tightening skin or or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: My abdomen lines are too defined and visible without contraction. Can I soften the lines? Is fat transfer an option? Good day, thanks for your provided question, pictures and information. I recommend you to get a revision to soften the area, your previous liposuction may was too aggressive, also this is something that is not going to completely go away, but it can be improved. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: New assessment and possible liposuction I would advise for a face to face consultation to properly assess the area and look into possible surgical and non surgical options. Ideally the best option would be to perform a liposuction of there to even out the abdominal area and remove the definition that you are not liking. Kindest regards.

Answer: Unhappy with high definition body contouring I specifically don't do high definition work because of patients like you. Personally I don't think it looks natural and natural always looks better. Realistically your two options are liposuction in the non-contoured areas( in between the lines, fat grafting the indentations or both. Based on my experience I would say the first option is the only viable and reasonable one. You'll have to accept a very aggressive Liposuctioned look. Typically fat transfer works poorly because there's no tissues to support the grafts. The thin areas is now skin over muscle. You can't graft fat into skin and putting it in the muscle is probably not going to work. It may work on your serratus muscle but not on the rectus muscle because of the thick fascia covering at the front of the abdomen. At a minimum your results can probably be toned down but you're probably stuck with the lines for life. It's important you let your provider know if you were not happy with the results so they can use better discretion in the future. Personally I feel that the high definition trend is not as great as it's made out to be Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
