Can Liposonix be used to eliminate fat from the double chin?

Liposonix would not be my first choice to eliminate a double
chin.Other, more efficacious options are
a series of Kybella injections or 2 treatments with the CoolSculpting Mini,
spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.You should
consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about what
options, surgical and non-surgical, are available to you.

Liposonix can be used anywhere on the body where
there is fat. For the chin area there are superior technologies such as the
CoolMini (a CoolSculpting device), which freezes away fat. Another treatment
option is injections of Kybella.

Liposonix is a wonderful device for the reduction of excess adipose on the body.  Unfortunately, it is not indicated for the submental area.  There are other noninvasive options including Kybella, which is a series of injections that essentially dissolve the fat.  There are also minimally invasive options such as, liposuction under a local anesthetic.  Depending on the severity, there are options.  It's best to start with a consultation.  Many Plastic Surgeons offer noninvasive treatments within their practice, and be sure they are board certified.  I hope this is helpful.
