Criolipolise is not approved in the U.S. but appears to be the same thing as cryolipolysis or Coolsculpting. I have 2 patients who were treated with Coolsculpting (elsewhere) and were unsatisfied with the results; in both cases a Liposonix treatment worked. I prefer Liposonix because of the ability to focus the treatment with precision.
There aremultiple non-surgical treatments for fat reduction that are very effective. It would behelpful to know what you didn’t like about your treatment to see if Liposonixwould be more appropriate. During the Liposonix treatment, fat cells are dissolved; the cell remnants are absorbed through the body’s natural metabolic pathways within the subsequent weeks. Because adults do not produce new fat cells, what has been removed cannot come back. Generally, patients see results 8 to 12 weeks a...
I have definitely seen more consistent results with total fluence (dose) of about 180 Joules. My personal preference is to deliver it in fewer pulses, say 60 x 3, but lower setting are more comfortable for some patients so we use what is called "pulse stacking".
