Which treatment is better for reducing the size of ones jaw: Dysport or Botox?

Dysport, Botox are equally effective in reducing the Masseter Muscle. Both take about the same weeks to take effect,  as well as both need a few treatment to see ultimate results.Best,Dr. Anil Shah MD FACS

Botox and Dysport are both equally effective for jaw slimming of the masseter muscle. Dysport usually starts working a little quicker. Both can last 3-4 months. More important is the skill and experience of the physician doing the injecting. Injecting these areas requires advanced technique and comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy to minimize complications and unwanted results. Studies  have shown equivalency between Botox , Dysport and Xeomin with regards to treatment effectiveness and longevity. Reduction of jaw size requires someone with experience. Good luck.Jeff Rapaport MDRealself All-star

Either brand of wrinkle relaxer can be effective in slimming down the appearance of the jaw by relaxing the masseter muscles. It depends on the result and longevity you get from each product as to which one is your preference.

Both Botox and Dysport can be used to reduce the look of the masseter muscle.  The two products work similarly and either can be used to help address your area of concern.
