Dysport, Botox are equally effective in reducing the Masseter Muscle. Both take about the same weeks to take effect, as well as both need a few treatment to see ultimate results.Best,Dr. Anil Shah MD FACS
Thank you for your question. When slimming the jawline, Botox in combination with RF treatments can be used to shape the jawline. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Botox and Dysport are both equally effective for jaw slimming of the masseter muscle. Dysport usually starts working a little quicker. Both can last 3-4 months. More important is the skill and experience of the physician doing the injecting. Injecting these areas requires advanced technique and comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy to minimize complications and unwanted results. Make sure you are under the care of an expert. Best wishes.
Studies have shown equivalency between Botox , Dysport and Xeomin with regards to treatment effectiveness and longevity. Reduction of jaw size requires someone with experience. Good luck.Jeff Rapaport MDRealself All-star
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. For most patients both treatments will offer similar results. Hope this helps.
Hi Cindy!Botox, Dysport and Xeomin are all locally approved in Singapore. When injected into the Masseter (jaw muscle), it relaxes the muscle to reduce teeth grinding, TMJ Dysfunction, migraines. As an added bonus, it also reduces muscle bulk to give a slimmer jaw shapeDysport is preferred by many practitioners as it diffuses the most of the 3 brands- potentially allowing it to spread out throughout the muscle. I have used all 3 brands of toxins with roughly similar results.Best wishesDr Bernard Tan
Either brand of wrinkle relaxer can be effective in slimming down the appearance of the jaw by relaxing the masseter muscles. It depends on the result and longevity you get from each product as to which one is your preference.Warm Regards,Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine
Dysport and Botox are both effective treatments for relaxing the masseter muscle. Both treatments work in nearly the exact same way and from my experience there is little difference between the two. That being said, if you have any further questions about either Dysport or Botox, there is no substitute for an in-person consultation to discuss any aspect of either procedure you would like to learn more about.

Both Botox and Dysport can be used to reduce the look of the masseter muscle. The two products work similarly and either can be used to help address your area of concern.

It's primarily up to the office if they charge you for touch-ups, though some will offer it for free. Regardless, patients should always understand that not every injection treatment is always the same and sometimes there are less than satisfactory results that may require a touch-up....
Thank you for your question. While a small amount of Botox can certainly give you a little bit of a lift in the Cupid’s bow, you may not notice much of a difference because of the amount of filler that you have in your lips. However, because such a small amount is used, it may be worth a try t...
