Could the Ultherapy treatment I had done years ago be responsible for scar tissue after my deep plane lift?

Thanks for your question. The short answer is yes. You've had several procedures (both surgical and nonsurgical) including a two deep plane facelifts. All of these procedures are known (and even expected) to cause some degree of scarring. Scar tissue is primarily made of collagen and almost all "tightening" procedures (including nonsurgical treatments like Ultherapy) acheive their results by causing collagen (or scar tissue) deposition. Your surgeon being "restricted by scar tissue" is an accurate description and is usually (or should be) discussed as one of the main limitations of revision facelift surgery.
