Question

I started out a small 32A 5”4” 110 lb. I just got put in 260 cc (left) and 280 cc (right) silicone breast implants (natrelle style 20) about 2 weeks ago and I’m really unhappy about the size. I think they look huge and fake. I know I have to give it more time for them to “drop and fluff” but looking at the size now I would really consider a revision to smaller implants down the road. Do you think they’ll get smaller or bigger when they drop?

During the drop and fluff stage breast implants settle and stretch the breast and skin forward. This usually makes them look bigger, but the final appearance may depend on the overall play between your ribs and tissues. Good luck. Dr. Aldo

Thank you for your question. You are still early in the healing process and it is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!
