Will I be okay for my surgery if I had a mushroom chocolate before breast augmentation?

Hi. I am 22 years old and I have a breast augmentation scheduled for this Thursday (in 5 days). I did a little little piece of mushroom chocolate bar tonight & drank a few cocktails. Will I be ok for my surgery on May 2nd? Thank you.

It would be better to ask your surgeon whether it’s safe for you to proceed, since each surgeon has their own pre-surgery protocols.

The psilocybin is not the issue, but the alcohol may be. More importantly, why did you do it? This behaviour isn't just about poor preparation for surgery, but extends to everything in life.  You should seriously examine this and try to rectify your thought process so that life can be as good and successful as possible.

If you are drug screened prior to surgery, you may not pass and your surgery may be cancelled. Please call your surgeon's office. Stay off everything, including alcohol, for now.

These chemicals usually don't affect you strongly for several days. I'm assuming you're referring to psilocybin mushrooms, and the "half life" is 3 hours. I would just tell the anesthesiologist about this, but I personally wouldn't reschedule your surgery for this reason.
