Hello! I had my first consultation after deciding I was ready to finally get a breast augmentation. I’ve had a hard time finding truly accurate ranges online for the price of breast augmentation in full, and was quotes about $13,500. Is this normal pricing? Or was I ill-informed on the affordability of a breast aug?

Answer: Affordability That is much higher than the national average. I would get multiple consultations and select the surgeon who you believe is best qualified within your price range. This must be a board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery).

Answer: It depends, In my practice, in Philly Pa. the range is approx. $7000 for saline and $8000 for silicone This quote would include hospital fee, lab tests, anesthesia, surgery, and all visits pre and post op. I believe this is fairly average for the area. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon' s experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them.
