Is the Luxe-style implant a different Sientra line of implants?

Sientra Opus vs Luxe? I just recently found in the Sientra website that Sientra had a Luxe style implant, but it's not clear if that's the same Sientra implant or if the Luxe is a different Sientra line of implants. Can anyone answer this question?

It is my understanding that there was no change in implant manufacturing or quality but Sientra chose to add the Opus and Luxe designation for branding purposes only.   I don't believe there is a distinction between Luxe and Opus.

They just renamed their implants - “Luxe” for round implants and “Curve” for their anatomical shaped implants. Most surgeons in the US will use a smooth round implant placed under the muscle. In light of the recent news about Allergan pulling their textured implants off the market in the US, the safer bet is to use a smooth implant. All anatomic implants are textured to prevent rotation. Personally, I think Sientra’s smooth round implant is the best on the market - both in product and warranty. And there is science to back that up. Good luck!
