Will I need a lift along with my revision? (Photos)

Question

In 2014 I had 325 cc HP under the muscle silicone implants placed. I’m fairly certain the left has always been contracted. However, now it is causing pain and I see visible ripple to include a bubble on the medial aspect of my left breast, I know I need a revision. 14Ihad35ccH .I’mfairlycertainthelefthasalwaysbeencontracted.However, revision and certainly a contractor repair but in your opinion, do I need a lift as well?

Thank you for the question. A breast lift will raise the nipples to be on the center of your implants. If this is what you are looking for then it is needed.

In those shots, you can see the nipple just about at the crease, so this is not a lift. It is a fix to the contracture. The left one is firm, painful and has that medial bubble, which is a tight capsule closing around the implant. Remove the whole capsule and replace with a fresh implant on the left. What about the rippling on the left around the cleavage? That is a coverage problem, not a drooping one, and no lift addresses it. The rippling is best handled with a smooth cohesive implant placed behind a GalaFlex sheet, plus a tiny bit of fat over the top to cover. For a little added lift, you could do a doughnut lift around the areola instead of the anchor scar.
