What is the maximum amount of truSculpt sessions one can safely have?

Thank you for your question regarding the 'safe' amount of truSculpt iD treatments that can be done.  The benefit on this radio-frequency heat treatment is that it is very safe, quick and effective at fat removal.  There can be some concerns about each patient will heal if there are too may areas done at one time.  At Reflexion Medical, we recommend to any patients to have only a maximum of 12 applicators (6 applicators is a full treatment) to be done at the same time.  The same area cannot be treated during the same session, but can be treated again after full healing time of 12 weeks.  The body does need to clear out the fat that is being melted, and by doing too many treatments at the same session, one may experience some problems that may be unhealthy, so best to not do to many treatments at the same time.  We can treat different areas after 12 applicators have been done in a single session, 4 weeks apart, again as long as it is a different area of the body being treated. 

There is no limit on the amount of sessions you can perform with Trusculpt ID. The results from each session will take about 3-4 months to fully appreciate. Each time, the benefits will become less noticeable because if you reduce fat by a certain percentage, each successive session, you are starting with a smaller volume of fat and the total volume loss will be less.

While there is no limit on sessions, in a specific area of treatment, one should wait 3 to 6 months to ensure maximum benefit of the initial session.  You want to have maximum benefit of the initial session before repeating therapy in that same region. The studies suggested 3 months for maximal response of a single treatment.
