I had a thigh and knee liposuction, and the doctor recommended I remove small amounts of fat under my butt cheeks as he said it was starting to sag. But now post liposuction (it has been about 3 months), the skin is hanging and there is a fold. Will this go away? I also did lipo on my upper back arm. The upper part looks weird when I tighten my arm, is it skin or muscle? It feels like muscle...
Answer: Liposuction I would suggest using EMSculpt on your buttocks to tone and build muscle which will fill out the loose skin safely and with no surgery. For your arm, once you are healed at 6 months, you might need a little fat added or Sculptra injections to help minimize the dent. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

Answer: Poorly done Liposuction Delivering consistent quality, liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who truly these procedures are in the minority. The area on your thigh it we’re fat was removed should not have been performed. Doing so generally create secondary and desirable outcomes. Do not go back to the same provider for any Revision Work. The best way to improve the back of the thigh and buttocks is grafting fat or fat, was inappropriately removed. This is very tricky and sometimes requires multiple procedures. Patient should be extremely selective when choosing providers for Liposuction, and or fat transfer procedures. Considering that revision work as many times more difficult than primary Liposuction importance of provider, selection goes without saying. To find the right provider, I suggest having multiple in person consultations. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Continue having consultations until you feel very confident you found the right provider. There’s no correct number of consultations to have to find the best provider for your needs. The more consultations you have the more likely you are to find the best provider coyote, considering how much variation that there is a Inc Liposuction and fat transfer skills. I suggest patients start by having at least five consultations before committing to permanent irreversible body contouring procedures that can leave people disfigured. Quality Revision Work can probably improve your outcome significantly, but could also make things much worse if you don’t choose the right provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
