Can an IPL home laser for hair removal injure your eyes?

I was treating my back area using an IPL home laser and my mirror. But I accidentally flashed while the laser wasn't on my skin, alsmost facing the mirror. Can it injure severely my eyes ?

Yes, an IPL cam injure your eyes.  You must wear protective goggles whenever you are in a room with an IPL being used.  The light can reflect off of a mirror or anything shiny and injure your eyes.

Yes it is still an IPL Laser Service. With that being said you should always trust a  professional to do these professional services. You should be wearing some sort of eye protection while using this as well as having anyone else in the room wear them and always remember to block mirrors as the beam of light can travel and bounce off the mirrors reflection.

Yes, IPL can be very dangerous for the eye and can permanently injure the iris. It should never be used near a mirror. In my opinion the home IPL devices are way too dangerous to be permitted. This is why we don't have them in the US
