Hello wito31,Thank you for your question regarding whether you need a TT revision or liposuction with JPlasma.Thank you for your history and your pictures. This is a tough one. I would ask if your picture on the left of the screen was taken with you leaning forward and your waist bent. I would also want to know your age. These factors will decide whether you need liposuction or a revision tummy tuck.If you are leaning over for the picture, then I would suggest an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck. If you are over 60 years old, I would suggest you have a tummy tuck. However, if you are not leaning over and are not older than 60, in examining the picture on the right, you may be able to get by with just VASER liposuction combined with Jplasma. VASER liposuction and Jplasma eliminate fat and maximally contract the skin. However, as you know, liposuction even with Jplasma does not remove any skin.Good luck. I hope I’ve answered your question regarding whether you need a tummy tuck revision or liposuction.Sincerely,J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FASMBS, FICS
It looks like you have recurrent laxity in the lower abdominal skin after your weight loss. Doing a mini-TT can help with the redundant skin that you are demonstrating. This is relatively simple with local anesthesia and no drains with activity as tolerated after surgery.
Dear wito31,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
It seems you have a very nice result in the standing picture. Looseness of the lower abdominal skin is normal in the sitting position. There may be looseness that is difficult to appreciate in the photograph, and could only be determined with an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon.
Congratulations on your weight loss! The revision will work much better than what J plasma can do. Go with the revision.
Congratulations on your impressive weight loss! An in person evaluation is needed for the best recommendation. You will always have some skin laxity when bending or seated, but an exam will determine if skin removal will improve your overall result. Liposuction with J Plasma works best on those with good skin elasticity. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
Based on the photos you shared you have extra skin and this can be addressed to full tummy tuck revision. However, more photos would provide better. You can contact my team and get your free virtual consultation.
Based on your nicely post of photos with the excess skin, I would recommend a full tummy tuck revision with waste flank Lipo fee $12,000. Best virtual consult with.

Yes, a revision can help tighten and make your belly button less protuberant. It is not uncommon that excess umbilical stalk can result in this occurrence. This can be done with local with good success. I would not hesitate to offer . . . thank you.
There are four variables that determine what the abdomen looks like. In other words, if somebody doesn’t like the way, their belly looks it is because of one or more of four different reasons. The four variables that determine what the abdomen looks like are the following. 1) abdominal skin l...
